YILAN THE WALDEN

To date, having undergone planning, the track and field, basketball court and baseball field alongside the Yilan River have been renovated or constructed; greens and plants have also been added to the river bank and nearby landscape, turning it into a riverside park perfect for a festive celebration or a relaxing bike ride on weekdays or holidays. 

Along the embankment, the Yilan River Bike Path measures a total length of about 15 km. Starting from the Riverside Park, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Yilan River all the way, then pass by the Saigou Monument and other attractions, before arriving at the Yuanshan Park, the end of the path, to enjoy a carefree and easy-going time.

With a carpet of boundless, thriving green grassland, Riverside Park is not only a popular sports venue for local people, but also a visitors’ favorite to sweep away all the troubles and fatigue.
